About the position

As a home automation technician, you'll be responsible for making sure your customers' houses are smarter than they are. That means installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting all sorts of fancy gadgets and gizmos, like lights that turn on by themselves, thermostats that know when you're coming home, and speakers that play music in every room.

But it's not all fun and games, you'll also need to deal with the occasional client that can't figure out how to turn off the lights they just turned on, or how to un-mute the TV. But don't worry, that's why you're the expert! Strong technical skills and a good sense of humour are a must for this job, and a willingness to wear a tool belt and climb ladders is a huge plus!

Working for Electralife means you will be given lots of opportunities to produce your best work to develop further in your profession and to feel proud of what you achieve. At the same time we expect you to work to time-frames and budgets. You will be a skilled, reliable tradesperson, able to work independently and able to make decisions about what the job before you needs most at any one time.

Toward completion of the project, you will work closely with the client in tailoring their home automation system to meet their needs and help to deliver their fully intuitive dream home.
