Privacy Policy

I. Warranty Coverage

This Lifetime Service Warranty (the "Warranty") provides coverage for the repair or replacement of any defects in the workmanship for the lifetime of the manufactured system. This Warranty applies to high-quality items such as appliances, cables, and electronics (the "System") supplied only by Electralife from an authorised supplier under license and not at retail level. The Warranty does not provide coverage for the end product but labour will be included.

II. Duration

The Warranty is valid for the lifetime of the System, which is defined as the period during which the System remains in normal use by the original purchaser. The Warranty commences on the date of purchase. The coverage period is intended to reflect the product’s expected lifespan and ensure longevity and reliability.

III. Scope of Warranty

  • Repair or Replacement: Electralife P/L will, at its discretion, repair or replace any defective parts or the entire System, free of charge.

  • Service Conditions: The Warranty covers defects in workmanship but excludes damage resulting from misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, or normal wear and tear.

  • Labour Costs: Electralife P/L will cover reasonable labour costs associated with the repair or replacement of defective parts.​

 

Eligibility

This Warranty only covers a System which meets the following conditions:

  • Electralife Installed and Supplied: All parts of the System, including supply of licensed products, installation and workmanship, commissioning, and wiring must have been completed by Electralife P/L. 

  • Electralife PLUS: The Warranty provides coverage only for Systems insured under Electralife PLUS, the monthly service and maintenance subscription. Subscription to this service includes but is not limited to remote programming changes, emergency callouts, and priority technical support.

  • Surge Protection: The System must include supply and installation of a Watt box for protection against damage caused by electrical surges. 

  • Labour/Workmanship of Retail Products: The Warranty covers only the workmanship or labour of non-licensed retail products into the System, and not the product itself.

 

Exclusions

This Warranty does not cover:

  • Consumable Items: Parts that are expected to wear out over time, such as batteries or filters.

  • Damage Due to Misuse: Any damage caused by improper use, neglect, or unauthorized alterations.

  • Damage Due to Abnormal Circumstances: Any damage caused by but not limited to bushfires, earthquakes, power outages, electrical problems, lightning or extreme temperatures.

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Regular wear and tear associated with the use of the System.

  • [Other trade installations]: Indirect or consequential damage, or for the cost of repair performed by non-authorised service centres.

  • [Supply of products by customer at retail level] Defects associated with customer supplied or retail level products installed in the System, including 

 

IV. Warranty Claim Process 

To make a Warranty claim, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Information: Reach out to Electralife P/L via 0433 384 652 or mail@electralife.com.au.

  2. Provide Proof of Purchase: Submit a copy of the original invoice.

  3. Description of Issue: Provide a detailed description of the defect or issue with the System. Include photos or videos of issue as necessary.

V. Limitations and Disclaimers

  • Limit of Liability: Electralife P/L’s liability under this Warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the defective System and does not extend to any consequential or incidental damages.

  • Legal Rights: This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary by jurisdiction. Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL), goods and services must be fit for purpose, and customers are entitled to repairs or replacements if the service fails to meet acceptable quality standards

 

VI. Transferability

In instances of ownership transfer within the warranty period, the new owner should contact Electralife P/L to transfer the Warranty and may be subject to fees and inspection of the product.

VIII. Modifications

Electralife P/L reserves the right to modify the terms of this Warranty at any time, without prior notice. Any changes will not affect existing warranties. Non-compliance with the agreed-upon terms may subject the Warranty or contract to be voided.
